Company Overview & History
The idea for Ego Trip was conceived out of a real world desire to find a company that understood the uniqueness and the value of a real city guide with original, complete, and up-to-date information. Every day there are new businesses, and with every new business, there are businesses that are ever changing, moving, remodeling, and going out of business…a quality lifestyle services source and city guide is the consumer’s greatest need. We wanted to develop a website where consumers could easily find the right businesses that match their personal lifestyle tastes. Consumers need a website where the information is organized, factual, current, accurate, trustworthy, complete, easily accessible, and located in one place.
Every company has a similar story to tell, “everybody wants to do it better.” With 25 years of personal experience promoting, marketing and working with business owners in one way or another, and a founding team of more than 100 years of combined experience – of frequenting, purchasing, and critiquing local businesses – we decided we could “do it better” because we “understood it better.” We wanted to create a more intellectual and meaningful service… an “interesting service” that would keep people coming back for more.
